Having cycled since I was a nipper and raced on and off over the years, like many others I often came to Mallorca on training camps. Having fallen in love with Majorca, I finally moved here in late 2010 and then started working as a mechanic in a local bike hire shop.

In 2012 I was working as an independent mechanic and guide and just happened to be living next door to a certain Bradley Wiggins. Towards the end of 2012 I agreed to be his "man in Majorca" (not a difficult decision to make!) and from then on was his personal support and mechanic on the island. In 2012 I was working as an independent mechanic and guide and just happened to be living next door to a certain Bradley Wiggins. Towards the end of 2012 I agreed to be his "man in Majorca" (not a difficult decision to make!) and from then on was his personal support and mechanic on the island. Having helped Sir Wiggo on his way to becoming British Champion, World TT Champion, setting the Hour Record and his many other achievements until 2016, I found myself at a loose end with his retirement.

So, having returned to being a cycle shop mechanic for a while, I decided it was time to strike out on my own again and help people achieve their cycling goals by providing well maintained, high quality hire bikes with a professional and personal bicycle rental service.
And so Your Bike Hire was born
